International Celtic Music Festival

The First International Celtic Music Festival will be held in Puerto Vallarta from 20 to 22 March 2014. This event will bring together musicians and other artists of Celtic origin or tradition, as well as artisans and merchants to celebrate their culture in our destination .
The First International Celtic Music Festival will be held in Puerto Vallarta from 20 to 22 March 2014.
With the support of the State Government of Jalisco, the Tourism Authority of Puerto Vallarta and the Embassies of the United Kingdom and Ireland, the International Celtic Music Festival has developed a program that includes:
• Parade of pipe bands
• Free concerts Outdoor
• Special Concerts
• A traditional "ceilidh" Scottish
• Competition called "Drumming for Drinks" (drumbeats for drinks)
The inaugural parade with pipe bands will be held on Thursday March 20th through the Malecón and from the first day there will be a series of concerts with bands like Alba's Edge of Boston, who will play a very unique style called "Scottish Latin Jazz" .
It is always nice to have events of this magnitude in Puerto Vallarta and the objective of this First International Celtic Music Festival in Mexico says it all: To become a party of national and international interest in which cultural expressions of Celtic origin are met without regardless of country of origin.
